~The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway~

Description

Let it go, let it go
Cant hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door
I don't care, what they're going to say
Let the storm rage on
The cold never bothered me anyway

I started this picture sometime in January, and finished it sometime in March. It looks better irl. :O_o:
I just got the movie Yesterday, but I watched it on YouTube before, and I am in love with this movie. I especially love the big plot twist at the end. I would explain it, but I don't want to ruin the end of the movie for people who haven't seen it yet.

I'm addicted to "Let it Go". I cant get this song out of my head. It's just a really good song and I cant stop listening to it. :XD:

Anyway, Enjoy your week! :dummy:

Ok before I start the jabbering I want you to know that I do not intend to badmouth your art in any way. Just stating honest opinions here so bare with me ;)

The drawing is decent. I really like the detail. And the effort you put in is also visible.
Also the character you are trying to portrait is quite recognisable.

The biggest problem I see with this piece are the proportions and the positioning of the facial features.
U did not get the head shape right. It is actually a little wider.
In portrait art the eyes are very important cuz most people focus their attention on them first.
Here the eyes seem too big. The space between the eyes is too narrow. A rule of thumb is a imaginary third eye between the 2 actual eyes as a guideline for the distance ;)
Next thing is the direction of her eyes: Disney simulated the fact that humans turn their eyes kinda inward if they focus on a close object. In the movie Elsa looks into a close camera in several occasions where this is visible. It is a very subtle thing and is very hard to get right. But doing this wrong or overdoing it will result in making her look like she is cross eyed which is the case here.
In your drawing only one nostril is visible although her head is (almost) fully frontal to the viewer. This makes it look like the nose/nosetip is bent/bending too much in one direction.
And because of the things mentioned above the mouth automatically feels out of place.
Characterdesign wise Elsas head is naturally on the bigger side but in your drawing this is slightly exaggerated due to missing shoulder width (Makes her head look enormously big).

...puh I could go on but I thing that is enough stuff to think about for now :P

I hope this constructive criticism helps a little :)

Anyways keep it up, draw a lot, use guidelines (helps getting the proportions and positioning of facial features right ;) - tons of tutorials bout this here on dA), and have fun cuz thats what its all about :)
